Management of the cellar
is made
simple through the use of the same
database software utilised by our
Document Storage Service.
Efficient and accurate management
of your wine is ensured through a |
combination of barcodes and inventory management software.
A unique range of barcodes is allocated to each individual
client and as wine arrives on-site a barcode is placed on
each
case. We note down the description of the wine including
vineyard, vintage and variety.
Each location within the cellar is identified by a unique
barcode
and each case of wine is scanned into specific locations using
infra-red technology. Upon scanning the cases into our cellar
our database is then updated and we fax, mail or e-mail you
an
updated inventory.
We can also include other fields of data including prices
and
recommended drinking dates upon request.
